With over a decade of experience in tax and small business advisory, Rich has built a broad range of expertise within the complex international tax space. He works with high-net-worth individuals, medium to large businesses, partnerships, and both inpatriate and expatriate clients—helping them identify tax savings and business value opportunities across a variety of industries.

Rich’s experience includes:

• Supporting clients with complex international tax matters, including the 965 transition tax and 951A GILTI tax
• Guiding individuals in the U.S. and abroad through IRS streamlined procedures to restore compliance
• Deep knowledge of controlled foreign corporations, foreign partnerships, foreign disregarded entities, foreign grantor trusts, and passive foreign investment companies (PFICs) for both businesses and individuals
• Advising on global mobility programs, entity structuring, and check-the-box elections for new subsidiaries or branches
• Handling expatriate and inpatriate returns, hypothetical and equalization calculations, and totalization certificate planning

Rich has also spearheaded large-scale, cross-border M&A projects and has been instrumental in building EFPR’s International Tax division from the ground up.
