Joe is from Amherst, NY and recently graduated from the University at Buffalo. He will be joining the firm as a Staff Accountant for our Buffalo Office’s Attest Department.

What attracted you to EFPR?:

I have lived in Buffalo my entire life and always desired to build my professional career in my hometown. I wanted to find a company with a respected reputation in Buffalo that offers its employees meaningful opportunities to learn and grow within the company. EFPR emphasizes a collaborative and supportive work environment and trusts new employees with real accounting responsibilities.

What do you hope to bring to the EFPR team?:

I will bring a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn each day to the EFPR team.

What made you want to go into your line of work?:

I chose to pursue a career in audit because I am drawn to the client-facing nature of the profession and the opportunity to build meaningful, professional relationships.

Do you play a sport or did you play in college or high school?:

I played baseball for 20 years including high school and college. I also ran cross country for 6 years.

Where is the most unusual or exotic place you’ve traveled to?:

I traveled to Croatia while studying abroad.

Are you an avid fan of any sports teams?:

I am a devoted Buffalo Bills, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Yankees fan.

What is your “number one” hobby?:

Building an ice rink annually in my backyard.
